

Pianist CiCi Brings Music to Children

(Reporter Gao Min) Last night, young Chinese-American pianist CiCi Fader gave her first solo recital in Tianjin at the Binhai Grand Theater, offering beautiful music as a Children’s Day gift to many young piano students.
CiCi Fader began learning piano at age five and held her first solo recital at twelve. She has since performed widely in New York and around the world, winning awards such as First Prize at the Bradshaw & Bruno International Piano Competition. She has now completed five solo recitals and is studying at New York University under Alan Feinberg .
Her program featured classical, modern, Western, and Eastern works, including Beethoven, Liszt, Chopin, and Bach. CiCi’s performance was fluent, graceful, and expressive, touching the audience and earning warm applause.
